Man Aloof From Nature

 Q. You are Monisha/Kamal. You feel that the modern man is totally cut off from nature. This has made him unhappy and dissatisfied with whatever he has in life. Write an article in 150-200 words.

Man Aloof From Nature
By: Monisha

“If you can see the winds rustle If you can hear the leaves sing There is no pain in the world That can touch you or cling”

Yes, there are more lessons to learn from nature than we have ever imagined learning from books. With the advancement of Science and Technology, man is now under the control of electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, i-pods, social networking sites, etc., which results in cutting him off from nature. The first thing in the morning people do is to check their phone, and the last thing on their mind is the incessant flow of reels with all the negative news and other content.

This is why everyone looks so pale and depressed. If the wee hours are spent in gardens and a few moments are given to meditation/chanting before sleep, the quality of human life can be transformed drastically.

Today, man, despite having every imaginable luxury, is dissatisfied with what he has in his life. In the rat race to earn more and more, he has begun to destroy nature. Disasters such as flood, earthquake, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc., are all the results of man's increased interference with nature. Additionally, we frequently heard the news of attacking wild animals in public and harming them. What is this all about? Simply, the outcome of man's selfish actions; we are clearing forests and using the land for constructing colonies. Due to this, animals are entering towns or cities. (Recent incidents of wolves killing villagers in UP) Moreover, in order to earn more and to fulfill his needs and wants, he is under stress, busy with his job. He has no time to explore nature. Man is ‘the salt gatherer’ Keats refers to in his poem ‘A Thing of Beauty.…’; who destroys health in search of material gain and then tries to restore that health with the wealth earned.

It is high time; we must connect more to nature and take steps to protect it in order to live a happy and satisfied life.

What will happen if creatures from other planets suddenly decide to attack the earth?

 Q. There are reports that creatures from other planets use the moon as a transit base on their way to the earth. What will happen if they suddenly decide to attack the earth? Write a speech on the scenario in 150-200 words.

Respected Principal, My worthy teachers and dear friends. Today I am here to share my views on the happenings of situations when the creatures from other planets decide to attack the Earth.

Times flies on wings. Due to the advancement in Science and technology, astronauts has experimented to land on the surface of moon. The reports say that some creatures of the other planets use the moon as a way to our planet, The Earth. But have you ever thought if these creatures suddenly decide to attack the earth ?

The outcome will be unimaginable. There may be two chances. That one will be that people of Earth will get scared and second people will scare those creatures. There may be destructions by those creatures as they are not familiar with our resources. We both will not understandable to each other. Due to which there will be chaos and atmosphere of fear and tension among both sides. Both endeavours to save their lives.

We, humans of earth think that they are advanced in weapons, may harm anybody. We are not understanding the languages of each other and the fear of being attacked by them. We even don't know how they attack us or What they will do after landing on our planet.

So, the need to hour is that we should be proactive (prepared in advance) for any uncertainty arising due to this type of situation. Govt. and astronauts should think about this situation. We should wake from eternal sleep and join our hands for the sake of the planet. Otherwise our planet will be on the verge of extinction one day.

Thank you.

CBSEGuess AI: Ladies and gentlemen, We are gathered here today to discuss a scenario that has been circulating in various reports and theories - the possibility of an extraterrestrial attack on Earth.

According to these reports, creatures from other planets are using the moon as a transit base on their way to our planet. And if they suddenly decide to attack us, the consequences could be catastrophic. The idea of an alien invasion may seem like something out of a science fiction movie, but we cannot ignore the evidence and theories that suggest otherwise. Our planet is teeming with life, and it is not far-fetched to believe that there may be other forms of life out there in the vast universe. And if these creatures have the technology and capability to travel to our planet, it is only logical to assume that they may have hostile intentions. Imagine waking up one morning to find that our cities are under attack by advanced alien technology. Our weapons and defenses would be no match for their advanced weaponry. Our world as we know it would be turned upside down in a matter of hours. The chaos and destruction that would follow would be unprecedented.

But it's not too late to prepare for such a scenario. We must come together as a united global community and take proactive measures to protect ourselves. This includes investing in advanced technology, educating ourselves about potential threats, and establishing communication with other countries to form a united front against any potential attack. Moreover, we must also strive for peaceful coexistence with any potential extraterrestrial beings. We cannot assume that all aliens will have hostile intentions towards us. We must approach any potential encounter with an open mind and a willingness to communicate and understand.

In conclusion, the possibility of an extraterrestrial attack may seem like a far-fetched idea, but it is not something we can afford to ignore. Let us take this as a wake-up call to come together and prepare for any potential threats. We must be vigilant, proactive, and always ready to defend ourselves.

Thank you.

Save and Protect our planet earth

Q. It is very important to take significant actions to save our planet. Write an article in about 120-150 words for your school magazine on how can we save and protect our planet. You are Akshay/Akshita of Graham Public School, Indore.

Save the planet, Earth
-By Akshita

This is a cause of complete concern across the globe today. The global warming has accelerated the rise of temperature on Earth which is said to have risen by 40°C. The sea level also rising. The glaciers are also melting away resulting in massive floods causing huge losses. On the other hand there has been very less rainfall in the recent years resulting in the scarcity of food around the world. The death rate due to starvation has increased immensely. We human beings are solely responsible for bringing this calamity upon us. We pollute our planet in many ways. Deforestation, industrial pollution, toxic wastes, vehicular pollution and lack of greenery are the chief causes of imbalance in the ecosystem.

The urgent need of the hour is that each one of us take steps to save the planet in every possible way. We should protect our forests, save fuel, plant trees, take care of toxic pollutants, conserve water and change our life style.

Awareness programmes must be launched by the students and NGOs to make people aware of environmental problems. The public should avoid the use of polythene bags. All of us must strive hard to save our beautiful planet for the future generations.

Youth Catching western life

 Q. The youth of India is fast catching up with the way of western-life thus leaving behind the values that we once took great pride in. Write a short speech in 200 words to be delivered in the school assembly.

Good Morning respected Principal Sir, teachers and my dear friends

These days the young generation is blindly aping the western culture. Even though our culture is very deep rooted, our present modern youth are very much influenced by westernisation. They find our culture to be very traditional.

The attitude, dialect and behaviour have been altered by the western culture little knowing that our culture is our identity. Our young generation is unaware  about our rich cultural heritage.
I think the education system,  has to be blamed as from the early childhood days children were not   aware about  the customs, traditions existing in our country, which ciuld have  been possible  through various documentries, books which definitely would have enlightened them about this vast country and its greatness.

I would like to state here that aping the western culture is not completely bad but one must know where to draw a line.

At the end i would like to state that one has to be proud of the culture of which we are a part of. It has been observed that many westerners have adopted Indias rich cultural heritage and have adopted Yoga and meditation. They too have accepted the teachings of our saint.

At the end I would conclude by saying  that one must accept the goodness in each culture and forego the harmful effects of every culture.

Thank you

The Editor
The Times of India
New Delhi

Sir,

Subject: ways to control anger

I am writing to express my deep concern over the recent spate of violence and destruction witnessed across the nation in the name of protest. The burning of shops, buses, and other public property, coupled with the blatant disregard for law and order, is a grave threat to our society.

While I understand the genuine concerns of the Jaat community regarding reservations, resorting to violence and destruction is a counterproductive and dangerous path. The Constitution of India undoubtedly guarantees the right to peaceful protest, but it does not extend to the destruction of public property or the intimidation of law-abiding citizens.

The actions of these protesters are not only damaging to our economy but also eroding the very fabric of our democracy. It sets a dangerous precedent where any group can resort to violence to achieve their demands, undermining the rule of law and the peaceful resolution of differences.

I urge the government to take decisive action to restore law and order and bring the perpetrators of these acts to justice. It is essential to address the legitimate concerns of the Jaat community through dialogue and negotiation, rather than resorting to violence and destruction.

Let us work together to uphold the values of peace, tolerance, and respect for the law, and ensure that our nation continues to be a beacon of democracy and progress.

Yours Sincerely
Sarika.

Elections are the backbone of democracy

 Q. Elections are very important for the survival of democracy in a state. Write an article on ‘Elections are the backbone of democracy’ in about 150-200 words.

ELECTIONS ARE THE BACKBONE OF DEMOCRACY.
BY: ABC

India is the largest democracy in the world.  Elections take place in India at  regular intervals to choose state and centre government. This is the beauty of a democracy that through the election  mechanism, people can choose their representatives at and change them if they wish to do so.

In any democracy, elections is the base on which a country has to make balance and work as per the leader they choose. Elections form the base or foundation of democracy. It means democratic government is based on elections of the public or nominations. It is conducted for the smooth functioning of the economy. The various cabinet ministers, ministers of state, and various other ministers are selected by the way of elections.

Unfortunately,  at times people select unworthy inappropriate persons as their leaders as they are either influenced by money or any other form of bribe like liquor,  grain etc. Sometimes they cast their votes in the name, caste or community or at times political parties with criminal mind set threaten them to vote in their favour.

In the end, it can be said that elections are the backbone of democracy. EC must ensure no unfair practices are used during election and people must also vote without prejudice,  selecting the best candidates that can take the nation towards progress and growth. Afterall, we are if the nation is.
