Optimism is the key to peaceful living

𝅘𝅥𝅰𝅴 Q. In the era of cut throat competition and high expectations, failures are inevitable. In the light of such a situation, a positive outlook is necessary for survival. Taking ideas from the unit 'Attitude' along with your own, prepare a speech to be delivered in the morning assembly on the topic,'Optimism is the key to peaceful living'.

Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends.

I stand before you to speak on optimism is the key to peaceful living.

Everybody wants to live a peaceful life. But Failures, expectations, comparisons, lack of confidence, pessimism are the factors considered as obstacle or hurdles in the path of success. No one can escape from these factors. The only solution is that one should have an optimistic outlook towards life.

Optimism is the quality that everyone must inculcates in themselves. Every one must take a step to inherent optimism. This helps them to make the world better in which they in. One should remember Helen's words, "I am only one, but still I am one - I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; And because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the something that I can do."

In order to live happy and peaceful life, we should have an optimistic attitude /perspective towards life. It is the key to peaceful living. Optimism and peace are interrelated to each other. Every body wants to earn more, students want to score more. They will get this only with optimistic attitude. We should interact more with positive persons and keep an arm's distance with negative or demotivated people. Otherwise our whole endeavour will be in vain.

Thank you.

IMPORTANCE OF SCHOOL TRIPS AND VISITS

By:

School trips and visits play an important role in children life. Being in hectic schedule, students have no time for their holistic development.  So, school must organise trips for students and encourage them to be the part of the team.

The benefits for students of being taken out of the classroom are manifold. (School trips and visits are significant to us in many ways.) It brings a cheerful smile on their faces. They get quality time to spend with classmates (class fellows). They discuss on various issues among themselves such as news, sports & games, TV programmes, academics etc. It provides practicality to their classroom teaching.  Going out on tours and trips, students inculcate various qualities in themselves such as team work, cooperation, adapting in changing environment, problem solving skills etc.  Some of the places of trips and tours are educational, which are useful for career in future. For instance,  science City teaches them about the evolution of human being and about their universe and how it started.

Trips make the students to know about the various historical events and influential persons associated with the site. These provide practical exposure related to the theory books. To exemplify, a school visit to a museum depicts the great knowledge about the Indian freedom fighters who fight against the British and sacrifices their lives for humanities. Moreover, visit to historical places such as exploring Taj Mahal, golden temple, qutub minar and many more places allow them to know about the past.

School trips and visits have become an indispensable element in school's curriculum. Besides bookish knowledge, these helps in understanding the varied culture of different states and religion. Also now schools have initiated organising trips to abroad such as NASA, USA , which helps the students to understand the world in better way. For instance, trip to NASA motivates them pursue course in science and space research. Moreover, Trips make students full of fun and frolic. Visit to water parks and fun valley are the trips that students enjoy the most. Water slides and Water disco are the attraction of many students.

Overall, it is worthy enough to point out that  trips and visits  help the students to increase knowledge, broadens minds and perspectives  enabling them to understand this world in an interesting way.

JOYS AND HARDSHIPS OF SUMMER SEASON
— By: Mohan

Change is the law of nature. Passing through a particular weather pattern in India, summer season is the hottest of all seasons. The summer starts from the may and continues till September. However, it is mainly of two months duration. Like every season, summer season has its own joys and hardships.

School children eagerly wait for the summers due to their Vacations of long span. For them, it is a time of enjoyment and fun with friends and families. People plan their trips to water spots such as beaches, water parks, falls, etc which is the main source of entertainment during summer season that makes them relax and they get a break from their monotonous life. During summers, weekends are like fresh breeze for us.

During summers, coolers and A.C. become a necessity for the people, which makes their environment cool and people love to enjoy such an artificial climate. They love to have cold etables and drinks such as ice creams, cold drinks, shakes etc. which makes them fresh, relax and feel heatless for a moment. Everyone enjoy such a pleasant moments during summers.

But every coin has two sides. During summers, the sun rays fall directly on the earth's surface, which makes the entire earth boiling. The sun gets very hot during the day and such heat strokes or scorching heat becomes very troublesome for us. People cannot come out of their homes and children cannot enjoy outside. They have to be in a cage. Childrens use electronic gadgets at home to freshen up, which has an adverse effect on them. Most of work remain suspended. Moreover, they do not feel energetic and a sort of dullness comes (appears) on them. In other words, summer causes many inconvenience as the hot winds cause much thirst and people cannot get water and as a result it causes drought in few parts of a country. Rivers and ponds dry up causing scarcity of water. Similarly, flora and fauna suffers too. Many die as a result of such sun stroke. People also get affected by many fatal diseases such as cholera, small pox etc. in the summer season. Such sort of problems can also be arises due to unbalanced ecosystem, use of heavy vehicles etc. as these create humidity and affects our cycle causing this season so hot.

So, we should come forward to protect our environment which in returns protects global warming and ourselves.
