The hall was beautifully decorated with slogans and posters. The emphasis would laid on ill effects of fast food. Various events and competitions were organised like poster making, painting competition, salad making, healthy cooking without fire, role play with a message of "Healthy Heart, Healthy Body" etc. Through inspirational speeches, thoughts and quotations students highlighted the demerits of consuming junk food and benefits of consuming healthy fresh food.  Qualities of an ideal student
                        By: Rahul

The word 'ideal' means a person or a thing regarded as perfect and student means a person who is studying at school, college or university. So, an ideal student to put it simply means a perfect student. He is the one who is all round the best and an admirable student. He lives in accordance with the rules of conduct and discipline. He follows the principle of simple living and high thinking.

The qualities of ideal student are manifold. He is the one who is fully aware (conscious) of his duties and responsibilities. As we all know that the word 'student' is closely related to educational institutions, so the basic purpose of a student is to study. An ideal student also very dedicated to his/ her studies but not a bookworm. He gives an equal importance to everything. Everything is equally important for him. He takes an active interest in games and sports believing in the saying that work while you work and play while you play that is way to be happy. Besides this, he also gives his  active participation in all extra-  curricular activities in the school.

He is an early riser and a healthy man. He is punctual and obedient in everything. He is a true friend and true friends are rare in this world. He helps his friends in need and so he is a friend in deed. He is not only a true friend but also a selfless or selfish worker. He acts as helping hand to his fellows. Besides this, he never quarrels with anybody. He does nothing that gives him bad name and fame. Thus, he is a model before students. He also understands his duties towards society and takes an active interest in social activities.

These qualities ensure a bright future of a student. So, every student must try (it is the duty of every student) to inculcate all these qualities in themselves and move ahead on the path of success. If they have strong determination and will power, they will certainly be an ideal before others.

It greatly decreases pollution and the parking space and help in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It really helps us to combat rising traffic congestion by filling the extra seats in the car. Furthermore, in order to save, the best and the most affordable way is to promote public transportation. Being cost effective, it helps in reducing fuel consumption as in the cost of fuel for one vehicle, many people can travel. Having fewer cars on road means reduces the presence harmful gases and improved air quality. Seeing health, air pollution caused by vehicular travel is linked to number of health concerns including respiratory diseases, allergies and neurological effects. This system reduces the health risks for yourself and everyone else.

As more people take part in car pooling programs or organise car pools within their workplace  overall traffic congestion will decrease which reduces fuel consumption, time and cost of road repair.
