Well, There are numerous memorable holidays, events and moments in our life. we get/have many holidays on different occassions. Some of them will retain in our memory and become memorable for us.

Recently, I had a holiday from my school after half yearly examinations. I decided to visit Amritsar to have a glimpse of golden temple with my friends. As we entered the temple, I met my known, who is the resident of amritsar joined us. He makes us to have a  glimpse of temple and told about its history. Thousand of people from all over the world visit here daily to get peaceful vibes. It was very crowded.

This holiday has become a memorable one in our life. we never have such peaceful place in our life till now. Also, we came to know a lot of information about this historical monument. There is a market outside the temple from where we purchase some traditional items for my near dear ones. We also offer our voluntary service on the kitchen over there.

I enjoyed and it was very great experience to visit there.

Thank you.

IMPACT OF OVERPOPULATION

- By: Rohan

In our contemporary world, problem of overpopulation has increased in [leaps and bounds (बहुत बड़ी मात्रा मे)]. It is not only a problem but also an ailment for people as cancer. The recent census (an official numbering of population) (The census figures)reveals that population has been increasing frequently over the years.

Overpopulation has tremendous impact   over the globe. It is not only an issue but all of the issues are attach to this problem. Overpopulation leads to overcrowding which means poor quality of life. Universally speaking, as the result of overpopulation, there is a sharp decline in the natural resources such as more land is exploited that is to say that more industrialisation and urbanization being searched up, consequently there is a continuous loss of agricultural land and depletion of natural resources. Deforestation has become the major concern, which leads to the global warming and climate in crises. Thus, there is huge loss to biodiversity.

Another impact of over population is the degradation of the environment. As due to increased population, more and more industries are being set up which is polluting the environment and marine as industries wastes are dumped into water. Rise in number of people on the earth is giving rise to number of vehicles on the roads which causes air and noise pollution to great extent.

As it is well said that more and more people will bring more miseries and poverty. Increase in population also mean decrease in the standard of living of people such lack of education or illiteracy, poor health facilities, rise in prices of basic amenities of life.

So, The Government, organisations and the other authorities should join their hands to reduce population otherwise the whole world will suffer one day.

By:  Rahul

Fairs and exhibitions are considered as the main attraction of the cities. Each city has its some famous fairs that are being organised there every year. Various fairs have organised in our hometown frequently such as Book fair, trade fair, festival fairs etc.

Almost all people visit the fair of their city or  hometown. Recently I visited my maternal grandparents during my summer vacations in dehradun. There I visited trade fair organised at prade ground with my family. It may be organised by the Uttrakhand government or any private institution. It lasts for the two weeks. It is conducted every year to show the various cultures of our country.

It was attended by the tourists from all over the world as dehradun is one of the renowned tourists places of the India. We bought the entry tickets and went in. Different people from different states joined it to present the various specialities of their state such as clothing, accessories, bags etc. The point of attraction was hand made articles as it attracts the customers most, it includes the toil of the makers.

There I enjoyed various rides but camel ride the most and being foody there. We visited different shops to look various presentations. There was an aquarium corner which I loved it. View was very scenic.

Trade fair pass knowledge to the customers and great source of entertainment for them. It is a great source of revenue for as people love to purchase items of various states. The area location gets well known.

Thus, we must visit the fair as it provides us information about the speciality of different states and the uniqueness of the country. The fair was an amalgamation of knowledge and fun.
